Welcome to BD Saver ("we," "our," or "the App"). BD Saver is an Android utility application that helps you monitor battery health, analyze app usage, manage storage, and optimize device performance using real system data.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, what third-party services are involved, and what choices you have. By installing or using BD Saver, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Privacy at a glance: Device analysis runs locally on your phone. We do not operate servers that collect your personal usage data. The free version uses Google AdMob for advertising. Optional BD Saver Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play.
2. Information We Access
BD Saver reads information that Android already collects on your device. We do not access your contacts, photos, messages, call logs, or precise location.
2.1 Device & Performance Data (processed on-device)
- Battery status — level, charging state, temperature, and power saver mode
- Memory (RAM) — used and available memory statistics
- Storage — internal storage usage and available space
- Running processes — count of active background processes
2.2 App Usage Data (requires Usage Access permission)
If you grant Usage Access, the App may read:
- Per-app screen time and last-used timestamps
- Installed application list (names and package identifiers)
- App storage and cache sizes
You may skip Usage Access during onboarding and use the App in limited mode without this data.
2.3 Locally Stored Preferences
- Theme settings (light, dark, or system)
- Notification preferences
- Onboarding completion status
- Subscription and reward-unlock status
- Alert timestamps (e.g., last low-battery notification)
This data is stored on your device using Android DataStore and is not transmitted to our servers.
3. How We Use Information
All device and usage analysis is performed locally on your device to:
- Display your device dashboard (battery, RAM, storage)
- Rank apps by battery and screen-time impact
- Show cache and storage breakdowns by app
- Run honest, transparent optimization steps
- Send optional low-battery and heavy-usage alerts you enable
- Manage free-tier limits and premium feature access
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not upload your usage statistics, installed apps list, or device analytics to any server operated by us.
4. Third-Party Services
Certain features rely on Google services. These providers have their own privacy policies and may collect data independently of BD Saver.

4.1 Advertising (Free Version)
Users of the free version may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. You can learn more at:
BD Saver Pro subscribers and users with an active temporary ad-free reward do not see ads.
4.2 Subscriptions (BD Saver Pro)
Subscription payments are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google provides us with subscription status so we can unlock Pro features and remove ads.
4.3 Rewarded Ads
Free users may optionally watch a rewarded video ad to temporarily unlock premium features or hide ads for a limited time. Watching rewarded ads is always voluntary.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not share your on-device analytics or usage data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data may be disclosed only when:
- Required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process
- Necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or the public
- Processed by the third-party services listed in Section 4 under their own policies
7. Data Retention & Deletion
All preferences, settings, and locally cached analysis data are stored on your device. When you uninstall BD Saver, all app-specific data is removed from your device.
Subscription records are retained by Google Play according to Google's policies. To manage or cancel a subscription, visit your Google Play account subscription settings.
8. Security
Because device analysis runs locally and we do not operate a backend that stores your usage data, your information remains on your device under Android's built-in security protections. We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a screen lock.
Release builds of BD Saver use code obfuscation (R8/ProGuard) to help protect the App integrity.
9. Children's Privacy
BD Saver is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing. Because BD Saver processes most data on your device, you can exercise many of these rights directly:
- Revoke Usage Access — Android Settings → Apps → Special app access → Usage access
- Disable notifications — BD Saver Settings or Android app notification settings
- Opt out of ads — Subscribe to BD Saver Pro, or reset your Advertising ID in Android settings
- Delete all app data — Uninstall the App from your device
- Manage subscriptions — Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other regions with data protection laws may have additional rights under GDPR or similar regulations. Contact us to exercise these rights.
11. International Users
BD Saver is available globally through the Google Play Store. Third-party services such as Google AdMob and Google Play may process data in countries outside your own. By using the App, you acknowledge that such processing may occur in accordance with those providers' policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or third-party services. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of BD Saver after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
